ABIGAIL WILLIAMS Seeks Keyboard Player

Phoenix-based extreme metal band ABIGAIL WILLIAMS is in need of a keyboard player for its upcoming U.S. tour with DARK FUNERAL and ENSLAVED. Submissions will be taken via email at [email protected]. The band will provide all applicants with keyboard tablature once they've accepted your initial interest.

Applicants must be:

* Able to learn six songs worth of material between now and January 3
* Available January 2 – February 10 (roughly)
* Able to perform with an 88-key weighted keyboard and have knowledge of synthesizers
* Willing to send audio/video clips of your performances of the songs

The band prefers all applicants to:

* Have their own equipment
* Live within close distance of Tempe, AZ
* Have a background in piano playing

As previously reported, Candlelight Records has set a January 23 North American release date for ABIGAIL WILLIAMS' "Legend". The limited-edition five-song EP is the territory's formal introduction to the Phoenix-based extreme metal band and coincides with the band's first national American tour; the band participating on Candlelight's upcoming (and highly anticipated) label tour featuring co-headliners DARK FUNERAL and ENSLAVED.

Amassing an impressive quarter million hits to their MySpace page (this in under six months!),ABIGIAL WILLIAMS defy classification by taking the groove and melody of Gothenburg-styled death metal, face-smashing breakdowns of the hardcore scene and top it with the bombastic and epic-flavored frostbite of black metal's evilest hordes. The result is a multi-faceted and unforgettable hybrid that already has genre aficionados taking an immediate interest.

ABIGAIL WILLIAMS' full length debut is planned for an early spring 2007 release. Additional touring plans will be announced in cooperation with the album's release date.
